In a life time

For so many years I had been trying to capture the "untamed"essence of the western most part of Portugal (many places contest this title).. That's the Atlantic Ocean you are looking at..

The beach in the background is Guincho - a surfers paradise with dangerous undercurrents and very steep and dangerous cliffs to the northern edge.... For me (you may or may not agree) this shot from the southern slopes of the Sintra National Parque finnaly shows the "vitality but ruggedness" of the coast line..... Swimmers and surfers beware this is a coast historically strewn with wreckage!!!
